A native of Mathira, Kollam district, Dr. Remya Rajan R. is the daughter of V. Rajendran Pillai and Rajeshwari O.

Dr. Remya Rajan R. has a distinguished academic record, having secured First Rank for both her Bachelor's (B.A.) and Master's (M.A.) degrees in Malayalam from the University of Kerala. She has qualified for the UGC-NET and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and has successfully completed her Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Malayalam Literature.
