Dr. Veena Gopal V P is a distinguished academician and Associate Professor with over 16 years of extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels across premier institutions, including University College, Thiruvananthapuram, and Govt. Autonomous Maharaja’s College. She holds an MA, B.Ed., and PhD, with specialized scholarly interests in Grammar, Linguistics, Eastern Criticism, and Fiction. Her primary research contributions are centered on Place Name Studies, a field in which she provides high-level mentorship as a recognized Research Guide.

In addition to her research expertise, Dr. Veena has demonstrated a profound commitment to institutional governance and student mentorship, serving as a Class Tutor for both UG and PG programs. Her administrative portfolio includes roles as Department IQAC Coordinator, Autonomy Syllabus Committee Member, and Department Internal Exam Committee Convenor. Dedicated to academic equity, she has coordinated UG Remedial Coaching and UGC NET Coaching, while further contributing to the academic community as a Language Club Coordinator, Additional Language Tutor, and Department Librarian.

ഗവേഷണത്തിന് പുറമെ, അക്കാദമിക് ഭരണനിർവ്വഹണത്തിലും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ മാർഗനിർദ്ദേശത്തിലും ഇവർ സജീവമായ പങ്കുവഹിക്കുന്നു. ബിരുദ-ബിരുദാനന്തര കോഴ്സുകളുടെ ക്ലാസ് ട്യൂട്ടർ, ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റ് ഐ.ക്യു.എ.സി. (IQAC) കോർഡിനേറ്റർ, ഓട്ടോണമി സിലബസ് കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗം, ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റ് ആന്തരിക പരീക്ഷാ സമിതി കൺവീനർ എന്നീ നിലകളിൽ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ സേവനം കാഴ്ചവെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അക്കാദമിക് സമത്വം ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനായി യു.ജി. റെമഡിയൽ കോച്ചിംഗ്, യു.ജി.സി. നെറ്റ് കോച്ചിംഗ് എന്നിവയുടെ കോർഡിനേറ്ററായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. ലാംഗ്വേജ് ക്ലബ് കോർഡിനേറ്റർ, അഡീഷണൽ ലാംഗ്വേജ് ട്യൂട്ടർ, ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റ് ലൈബ്രേറിയൻ എന്നീ നിലകളിലും തനതായ വ്യക്തിമുദ്ര പതിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
