Dr. S. Nazeeb is a native of Neeravil, Mavinnizhikathu, Kollam. He completed his education at SN College (Kollam), the Department of Malayalam at the University of Kerala, and the Government Training College, Thiruvananthapuram.

കൊല്ലം നീരാവിൽ മാവിന്നിഴികത്ത് സ്വദേശിയാണ്. കൊല്ലം എസ്.എൻ. കോളേജ്, കേരള സർവ്വകലാശാല മലയാള വിഭാഗം, തിരുവനന്തപുരം ഗവൺമെന്റ് ട്രെയിനിങ് കോളേജ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലായി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. മലയാളത്തിലും ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും മനഃശാസ്ത്രത്തിലും ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദവും കൂടാതെ എം.ഫിൽ, ബി.എഡ് ബിരുദങ്ങളും കരസ്ഥമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പ്രൊഫ. ദേശമംഗലം രാമകൃഷ്ണന്റെ മേൽനോട്ടത്തിൽ ഗവേഷണം നടത്തി കേരള സർവ്വകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് ഡോക്ടറേറ്റ് ബിരുദം നേടി.

ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്കകത്തും പുറത്തുമായി ദീർഘകാലം അധ്യാപകനായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിലവിൽ കേരള സർവ്വകലാശാലയുടെ കേരള പഠനവിഭാഗത്തിൽ അധ്യാപകനായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. അതോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ കേരള സർവ്വകലാശാല സിൻഡിക്കേറ്റ് അംഗമായും ഇദ്ദേഹം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുവരുന്നു.
